FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Straight answers for community-bank executives evaluating the Genesis Design Partner program.
What is Genesis Community Systems?
Genesis Community Systems LLC works with U.S. community banks exploring a practical path to core modernization through the Genesis Design Partner program.
Is Genesis Community Systems the same as Genesis Core Systems?
No. Genesis Community Systems LLC and Genesis Core Systems LLC are separate Genesis entities with complementary responsibilities. Genesis Community Systems focuses on community-bank engagement and Design Partner program activity. Genesis Core Systems supports broader platform strategy, product development, and ecosystem relationships.
What is the Design Partner program?
The Design Partner program is a structured process for selected community banks to help shape and validate a community-bank operating model before moving toward conversion.
Does joining the process mean the bank must convert?
No. The intended principle is "commit to the process, not the conversion." Conversion should move forward only after agreed UAT and migration criteria are met and the applicable definitive agreements are in place.
Is this a core built from scratch?
No. Genesis is building around a proven Tier-1 core foundation and packaging it into a right-sized operating model for U.S. community banks.
What type of bank is a good fit?
Community banks that are actively evaluating core modernization, cost reduction, operational efficiency, vendor simplification, improved digital capability, or a more disciplined conversion path.
What happens after we request a conversation?
Genesis will schedule a short introductory discussion to understand your bank's goals, current core environment, timeline, and whether a Design Partner discussion is appropriate.
How does Genesis address vendor-risk diligence?
Genesis expects banks to conduct appropriate diligence. The Design Partner process is intended to support diligence through clear scope, documented responsibilities, testing criteria, data/migration planning, and transparent decision gates.
Are there fees?
Commercial terms depend on the agreed Design Partner scope and definitive agreements. Within the agreed Design Partner scope, Genesis may cover standard implementation, integration, configuration, and customization work.
How do we opt out of emails?
